Paraguay exported more than 238,473 tons of beef from January to August 2021, setting a new record for the sector.



In the first eight months of this year, the accumulated exports of beef established a historical record for the country, with the shipment of 238,473,126.56 kilos of the product, worth 1,134,933,566 dollars, according to data revealed by the National Service for Animal Quality and Health (Senacsa) .The report also details that in terms of bovine giblets, a total of 42,815,033 kilos was exported in these first eight months of the year for an approximate value of $ 85,907,319 and refers to the Slaughter achieved in August of this year amounts to 173,425 head of cattle, with a total of 41,107,521 kilograms Finally, the official veterinary service report states that between January and July of this year the main beef export markets were : Chile with more than 96,745,966 kilos, Russia with 57,337,141 kilos, Brazil with 21,792,475 kilos, China (Taiwan) with 20,623,277 kilos, Israel with 15,318,554 kilos and Uruguay with 4,367,682 kilos. ONOMIC: On the other hand, in July of this year, registered exports totaled USD 6,376 million (FOB), which represents in value the best historical performance regarding exports made from January to July of each year. The numbers were provided in the Foreign Trade Report (RCE) of July 2021, published by the Undersecretariat of State for the Economy of the Ministry of Finance.According to the Ministry of Finance, the gradual recovery of the national economy, driven by foreign trade, It was supported by high demand from trading partners and the improvement in international prices in that period.
