The Paraguayan Meat Chamber (CPC) expects local meat production to enter the United States market by December this year, explained the vice president of the union, Korni Pauls. It was within the framework of the Meat Night held at the headquarters of the Rural Association of Paraguay (ARP) during the 75th National Livestock Exhibition 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sector leader explained that in November, professional technicians from the United States are expected to arrive in the country to verify at least 10 refrigeration plants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that Paraguay has high quality beef, which positions the country as one of the largest exporters of red protein that reaches some 40 countries in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of August 2021, exports of beef, offal, products and by-products of animal origin register just over US $ 1,420 million in export value. This represented a total of 434,859 tons shipped to the various markets in Paraguay, according to Senacsa data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
